Developed following a collaborative workshop We Are Walden organized by Rilegno focused on the design of a mobile woodworking units, the project brings together multiple concepts and prototypes into a singular modular system.
Our team proposed a modular solution integrating three smaller tables within the main structure, allowing
the workspace to adapt to different workshop formats and spatial conditions. The project included research on wood materials and woodworking techniques, followed by concept sketches and 3D modelling to define the structure. A 1:2 functional prototype was built using real materials and traditional joinery to test ergonomics, mobility, and construction logic.

After the workshop phase, my involvement continued through the development and refinement of several modules, contributing both to my group’s proposal and to the overall construction of the final mobile woodworking setup.
Following the design and fabrication phase, Rilegno inaugurated the mobile woodworking workshop at Off Campus Politecnico di Milano in Nosedo. The initiative
promotes workshops and educational activities centred on woodworking, recycling, and material reuse.
